My name is Darold and this is a journal for my inanities. I’m trying not to take myself so seriously and have more fun on the internet. I’m currently really into creative writing, tabletop roleplaying games, reading books (supernatural, horror, and romance), video games (Nintendo Switch and PS5), and deep diving on random things.

What I Do

To pay the bills, I’m a project manager who helps make data analytics tools. The dream is to be able to spend my days making things, but that’s still a long ways away. I’m trying to cultivate my writing habit and spend more time on making things for the fun of it.

What I’m Into

I moved to Seattle in September of 2024 and I’ve been spending time exploring neighborhoods, trying new restaurants, and getting used to gray rainy days. I recently watched S1-2 of Interview with the Vampire and absolutely loved it. My most recent RPG was a five session run of Good Society themed after Doctor Zhivago.
